About the Journal

We encourage a wide range of research articles that address the core challenges and opportunities in the innovation and development of Chinese medicine. Manuscripts should focus on evidence-based advances in Chinese medicine relevant to chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and biology. The focus includes therapeutic procedures, medical practices and health care, ethnomedicine, clinical efficacy and safety, mechanisms of action, as well as modern drug delivery and pharmaceutics. All aspects of modern research in Chinese medicine, including but not limited to, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, massage, Chinese herbal medicine, etc. are welcome to publish in Advances in Modern Chinese Medicine Research.
