Road traffic safety has become an important social issue that many countries around the world urgently need to address. Accident causation theory shows that road traffic accidents are more caused by the interaction of people, vehicles, and roads, among which human factors play a key role. Drivers' internal psychological activities largely determine their driving behavior. Therefore, analyzing drivers' psychology helps to understand their behavioral logic and provide guidance for improving traffic safety. This paper adopts the questionnaire survey method, takes drivers' psychological state as the starting point, explores the bad psychological factors affecting driving safety, analyzes their impact combined with cases, and puts forward targeted countermeasures.
